How to get the target audience hooked
So who are the target audience? Well the target audience is the general public, there is no specific sample of the public that our client wants to target. But to be able to reach our audience and satisfy their needs we need to be able to fit the guidelines given to us.
- The screen needs to be in the right position in the windows to be able to catch the attention of the passerbys.
- The quality of the projector needs to be sufficient enough to be seen through the glass, especially on a sunny day.
- The content in the video must not contain explicit content, needs to be able to suitable for all ages and entertain all sorts of people.
- At the time of the first launch we need to be around to answer any questions that the public may have.

Government Initiative
The idea was to make use of empty shops throughout the country, these shops had become empty because of the recession that had hit us. They would make use of the shops by displaying local arts and culture in their windows.
This would lift up the mood in the local shopping areas, because instead of looking at empty dark shops which are not really much of a morale boost they will be looking at lively bright shops displaying various work from their area.

What I expect from working with the Film trust
I am expecting this project to be very professional, Tony Jones is a respectable business man he wants something that will promote his work in a great manner. I expect communication between us and him to be very frequent and well developed.
As the class will be working as a team I feel that we will be able to get the product made on time and to specification. I am hoping to gather a lot of experiance working in a different way to what I am used to, normally we are just given a task to do with a few limitations. But with this we are being told what to create under strict guidelines and limitations.

My Client (Tony Jones)
Another acomplishment of his was that he co-founded City Screen Limited, in 1989. In its 21 years it has become the UK's largest group of independant cinemas, as well as having all of this pressure he is also the key director for the cambridge film festival, as well as the co-founder and trustee.
Previous Commission Work
One of the past commission works that I have done is working with Sawston Cinema. The commission was to create a logo for the up and coming cinema. The did not brief us with a lot of infomation to create this logo, because of this I was unsure what exactly to create I went with my instinct and created something rather brash.
At the start of the commission, Bill Thompson came in and discussed to the whole class about this task. We were to all create a logo individually and present them to the sawston cinema commitee. He gave us a brief history lesson ino the cinema's past, but to get a real insight to the cinema we would have to visit it. So we did...
Here is us standing in the hall obvserving the seating area of the cinema.
Sawston Cinema failed to keep in contact with the class, because of this our logo interpretations were not amazing and probably not what the client wanted.
In the end, they had chosen a logo that was not created by any of us, it was thought up by the sawston cinema commitee.

This task could have been a lot better if our client had kept in contact with us.
